hello wonderful creator :D
I'm very much looking forward to seeing what you create for me. Below are links to all the works I've requested recursive works of, and some thoughts about how that might go. use this letter as much or as little as you need for your own inspiration. And thanks in advance for the gift <3
lirin: Red Gold and Vibranium (fic)
Erica45 & snarkymuch: The Falcon and The Stag (fic)
fringeperson: Moved by the Law of Probability (fic)
shadydave: Love Is All You Need To Destroy Your Enemies (fic series)
I want recursive fanwork about one or more of the main characters in this fanwork (gen)
I want recursive fanwork about the main pairing in this fanwork (shipfic)
HP/MCU is a combination of megafandoms that i unironically love even though I've gotten progressively less interested in both canons over the years.
Red Gold and Vibranium - I love the opportunities here, with Shuri coming to Hogwarts and discovering she's actually magical, not just faking it in order to learn about magic. And of course the friendship between Hermione and Shuri has a ton of potential whether or not Shuri joins the golden trio on their life threatening adventures. I would love to see more of this setup either way
The Falcon and The Stag - soulmate mark AUs, my catnip. I love pairing Sam with just about any traumatized character (so, basically with any of my faves) because he's also been through it, so he can relate, as well as he actually knows how to help... I'd love to see some more pairings in this universe, or Harry and Sam opening up to each other, and learning about the others' chaotic ridiculous lives.
Moved by the Law of Probability - I love this a lot. Harry dealing with being the master of death, and trolling SHIELD and the way things change and don't change with his presence. I'm also always here for outsider POV - what do the others Really think of Fred Westley? or what did Clint or Natasha think after meeting Bill and Fleur? Plenty of potential in this universe and I very much enjoyed the original. I'd love to see more
Love is All You Need To Destroy Your Enemies - dave sure did write a phenomenal series here. I love all her original characters (the scientists) especially Julie. (waiting for the bus in the rain was perfect, since it was Julie-centric). I do love the intricately crafted Time Travel Shenanigans and how even the loose ends left in love its all you need were tied off in waiting for the bus, but don't feel obligated to write a time travel plot, or match the length of the original, especially on an exchange timeline. I also love everything about Carlos' science double speak as he tries to keep his wizardness hidden
tigriswolf: where there are no keepsakes (fic)
I want recursive fanwork about minor or background characters in this fanwork (gen)
i want the background characters from this one - for example, expanding on that scene where steve just Chooses Not To Ask how bucky got himself and an infant between continents without passports, or general fluffy (or more serious, if you like) scenes from Evan's childhood, or whatever else inspires you. Basically, we've seen the hogwarts teachers' perspective; I'd like to see more of the avengers' side.
DNW: acknowledging Darcy's comment implying 'squib' and 'muggle' are slurs. please just focus on all the other ways Albus is pissing them off, if that moment is even still present in your work.

some faves. All excellent options
ink and paper prayers - I love the worldbuilding here and the exploration of different types of magic, and Cedric's genuine desire to learn that isn't downplaying how hard Cho has worked to learn it all... anyway there's enough differences from canon that we as readers can hope that Cedric will survive in this universe, but if he does, how does that actually go? or explore some other, related worldbuilding if that inspires you
Harry Potter And The Summer At Grimmauld Place - a "Sirius gets pardoned" fix it fic. I always want more fix it fic. There's so many ways this could go, with Sirius being able to exist in public
only the shape of a falling star - Sirius & Regulus reconciliation, and a chance to go after the horcruxes with foreknowledge... There's so much I love about this concept, and I'd love to see more. Maybe some of the horcrux hunting? Maybe some of the horcrux destruction? I'm always a fan of solutions for the harry-crux that don't require him to die, and prevention is a totally valid solution. Has warning the Potters about Peter been enough on that front? If they do succeed at preventing the har-crux, how does Regulus react to "there could have been seven, and we've destroyed five so it's time to kill Voldemort" because that math doesn't add up.
star in the heart of the lion - okay so both this and another work based on it were both already gifts for me, and I love everything about this setup. Regulus rescuing Sirius is delightful, and the way they're immediately back to bickering is such a sibling thing to do, and this is a wonderful set up for a fix-it (regulus already lives, and sirius has a chance of remaining free, but what do they deal with first? do they steal Harry from the Dursleys? How does horcrux hunting go? How do they figure out that Harry is one, or when they're done destroying horcruxes and can relax? I very much prefer solutions that remove the horcrux from harry without requiring him to die (again). Is that easier in the first week/month/year after it attached to his own soul? I also love if goblin/cebtaur/other non-whitebritishhuman magic turns out to be able to fix things that magic taught at hogwarts can't, including if that's where the non- deadly solution comes from.
The Source Of Grief - time travel fix it, including preventing the har-crux. I love this and I love how Sirius figured Hadrian out by the end... I'd love to see more of the butterfly effect or Hadrian establishing a happy life in the past or more wolfstar + third (and fourth) wheel Harrys. Or anything really. There's a lot of potential here
Like a Ghost In My Town - op master of death Harry reliving his life and changing things so that he gets a happy ending is my jam. This series is very That with a side of nontraditional lycanthropy and a Tom/Harry ship. I really enjoy the Alpha Lord subplot in the first one, and despite forgetting to click the box for "background or minor characters from the work" i love considering Remus' pov in either work, or Lily's from the second... But ofc Harry centric fic is always great too. And its strange how much i appreciate his friendship with Bellatrix in the second work. I would particularly love a sequel in yet another life (probably less of an Epic than bats usually writes. i won't say no to longer gifts, but just like with love is all you need (a crossover work), I don't expect you to match the original's length, especially not in an exchange timeline
Lurafita: Avengers Training (Or How Spiderman Kicks Everyones Butt) (fic)
I want recursive fanwork about one or more of the main characters in this fanwork (gen)
I would love to see more of the training tony summarized for steve. How Peter came to terms with his new strength and maybe his pov of how much he's holding back at all times
and then on to the assorted works of my own that made it into the tagset

works based on my own works! (and based on one totally anonymous work from wdlf7 that definitely isn't a gift for anyone I've written for before...) I'm very happy to see how what I've done might have inspired others. these are mostly fix its or redeemable dursleys. or both tbh.
mostly I've tried to imply a lot of Other Things Offscreen and i would love if someone wrote those missing scenes. or sequel fix its or sequel fix-it-fails even... or art of what i wrote that idk how to prompt for but i would adore.
Anyway i write things i like to read, so however these inspire you, I suspect I will adore

more of my own works!
shinichi pov of this? more explicit gin/sherry? (any archive warnings are okay, make gin as hellishly abusive as you like); somehow combine this with a "pandora is a component of aptx4869" universe? idk what to ask for but recursive fic of my fic just sounds super neat. Whatever else this work inspires you to create, I would love to see it
